Every year the York office of the Heart and Stroke Association start revving up – well cranking up, the Big Bike, and is inviting groups, companies and associations to get out as a team, get healthy, raise some money for research, and of course, cause quite a commotion as your team barrels down the street on a bicycle made for 30.
Teams are made up of 29 enthusiastic riders who each commit to support heart disease and stroke research. On event day, one of the Heart & Stroke drivers will accompany your team as you pedal through the community and celebrate your accomplishments.
Local rides are planned for May 26, June 1 and 2 at Crosby Arena on Unionville Main Street and on May 18 at the Stouffville Boston Pizza.
